In collaboration with the Western Colorado University, the Gunnison Arts Center is proud to offer FREE annual memberships to all active Western Colorado University students!
Your complimentary Student Membership unlocks exclusive discounts and benefits while connecting you with a vibrant creative community. Whether you're looking to take a class, explore a new art form, or support the local arts, your membership is your ticket to getting involved.
Easy and quick
Here's all you do to Register for Your FREE Student Membership
Step 1: Complete the Student Membership application using your Western Colorado University student information and your current Gunnison, CO address.
Step 2: Check your Western student email for your membership confirmation email. Once you receive it, your membership is active, and you're all set!
Step 3: When registering for GAC classes, sign in using your Western student email address. At checkout, select the Member pricing option—your student membership will automatically unlock your discounted rate.

Your Student Membership is valid for 365 days from the date of activation and must be renewed annually to continue receiving these benefits. As long as you remain an active Western Colorado University student, you are welcome to renew your complimentary membership each year.
If you're interested in taking a class but need additional financial support, you are still encouraged to apply through the Gunnison Arts Center's Tuition Assistance Program, which may provide additional assistance for eligible arts education classes.
