School of Dance Adult Classes
Classes may be canceled by the Arts Center if minimum enrollment is not met. In this case, participants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance and issued a full refund. Participant cancellations require at least 48 hours’ notice to receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance or for no-shows.
All adult School of Dance classes are open to students ages 16+ unless otherwise noted.

Perfect for never-ever dancers or those returning to tap after a long break, this fun and supportive class introduces the fundamentals of tap dance in a relaxed, encouraging environment. Each session includes a full-body warm-up, basic technique, and rhythmic choreography to build coordination, balance, and musicality. Dancers will explore foundational steps like shuffles, flaps, and simple combinations. Tap shoes are strongly recommended to fully experience the unique sounds and style of this classic American dance form.

Movement for the Sensuous - Ecstatic Dance | Ages 18+
Friday, February 13th. 8:00 - 10:00 pm.
Move freely, feel deeply, and reconnect with your body through this liberating, judgment-free dance experience. Ecstatic Dance is a guided but unstructured movement practice set to a dynamic soundtrack, allowing you to express yourself, release stress, and find joy through rhythm and motion. No choreography, no experience needed — just come as you are and dance your heart out.
* To honor the intimacy of this evening, this single day workshop is only offered to women and femmes.
