Gallery + Studio
Located in the heart of historic downtown Gunnison, the Gunnison Arts Center (GAC) resides in a beautifully restored and newly renovated 1880s building. On the east end of the first floor, the former Café Gallery now houses the Clay Collective — a dynamic space uniting the Clay Studio and Gallery. This vibrant hub is dedicated to creating, exhibiting, and celebrating the ceramic arts of local and regional artists.
The Clay Collective features both functional and sculptural ceramic works, displayed on shelves crafted from the building’s original floor joists. Highlights include a curated Mug Wall, a specialized Ceramic Shop, and collections from five contemporary ceramicists, alongside a rotating Featured Artist exhibit.
