Tuition assistance is available to anyone who applies, helping make arts education more accessible to our community. We’re also excited to offer the new W.C. Bennett Memorial Arts Scholarship, supporting emerging artists as they grow their creative practice.
Tuition Assistance application
Easily apply for tuition assistance at the Gunnison Arts Center for any class, anytime, at any age. Everyone who applies will receive assistance based on a sliding scale determined by each individual application. There’s no harm in applying—come create, learn, and explore the arts in a way that’s accessible for you!
W.C. Bennett memorial Arts Scholarship
This scholarship honors the life of W.C. Bennett by supporting Gunnison High School (GHS) students who are pursuing degrees in the fine arts at Western Colorado University. Bill studied art at Western, where his teachers inspired him to expand his knowledge and perfect new techniques to create works that inspire examination and reflection. He was a supporter of and participant in the Gunnison Arts Center offerings from its founding. He enjoyed the friendship of many artists in the valley and took an active interest in emerging artists working in different mediums.
