Grade K - 2 Aerial Silks
Session 1: 5 Wednesdays, September 10 - October 8. 2:00 - 2:30 pm.
Session 2: 5 Wednesdays, October 22 - November 19. 2:00 - 2:30pm.
This class will allow little dancers to explore the aerial fabric known as silks. They will learn to spin and go upside down while working from a knot. Basic moves will be explored staying low to the ground while allowing the dancer to have freedom to create their own.
Max number students: 4

Classes may be canceled by the Arts Center if minimum enrollment is not met. In this case, participants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance and issued a full refund. Participant cancellations require at least 48 hours’ notice to receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance or for no-shows.

Session 2: 5 Wednesdays, October 22 - November 19. 3:30 - 4:15 pm.
Let your dancer get their groove on in this fun and energetic class! Dancers will explore the basic fundamentals of this style while having freedom to explore their own moves. Short dances will be learned throughout the sessions. Dancers will get to show off what they have learned in the last class to parents.

Middle School/High School Lyra
Session 1: Thursdays, September 11 - October 9. 4:00 - 5:00 pm.
Session 2: Thursdays, October 22 - November 19. 4:00 - 5:00 pm.
This class will explore the aerial hoop known as the Lyra. Students will acquire strength, fluidity, and artistry while working on intro moves all the way up to more advanced combos. No experience required and all levels are welcome.
