Youth Ceramic art education
Classes may be canceled by the Arts Center if minimum enrollment is not met. In this case, participants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance and issued a full refund. Participant cancellations require at least 48 hours’ notice to receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance or for no-shows.

Thanks to the generous support of the Gravity Diversity Project, teens can join us for a free drop-in handbuilding class on Early Release Wednesdays. When school is in session, we're here after school for clay, creativity, and community! Spanish translation provided!

Youth Wheel Work | Ages 9-15

A hands-on introduction to the pottery wheel where kids learn the fundamentals of working with clay, including centering, pulling, and shaping forms on the wheel. Students will also explore basic glazing techniques to finish their pieces, adding color and personality to their work. This class encourages creativity, experimentation, and skill-building in a fun, supportive studio environment, helping young artists gain confidence while discovering the joy of ceramics.

Create handmade clay gifts for family and friends in this special two-day workshop! Students will handbuild unique holiday keepsakes, then return to glaze and decorate their finished pieces. All projects will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup before the holiday break.
