Adult Visual Arts Education
Classes may be canceled by the Arts Center if minimum enrollment is not met. In this case, participants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance and issued a full refund. Participant cancellations require at least 48 hours’ notice to receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance or for no-shows.

Bring your own project and materials to join a supportive, collaborative space where we create together in real time! The Vision Train is an international creative community that has been gathering on the same Zoom call since 2020, and now it opens a portal to the Gunnison Arts Center every second Thursday. Starting in 2026, special programming will run from 6–7 pm, where we collectively drop into the same audial space while creating together in community.

Applied Color Theory | Ages 15+

Instructor: Don Seastrum
Color is one of the fundamental elements of the creative process and as such, it is important to understand how to employ the interactive properties of color to actual works of art. This course explores, through direct application the use of color, hue, value, intensity, simultaneity, and proportion to studio work. Previous experience working with color principles is not necessary.
Recommended for those interested in traveling to Italy with Don Seastrum!
