Vision Train Global Art Jam Exhibit

Vision Train Global Art Jam Exhibit

In 2020, the Vision Train, a space station for a movement of co-creative communities sprouted out of a time of great global change. Hosted on the same continuous Zoom call, artists gathered and trained each other in “keeping the Train on the tracks” through scheduling art jams, interviews, skill shares and a non-stop vigil for a solid 8 months. 5 years later the Train is still rolling, gaining momentum and is a cultural phenomena of inspired visionaries gathering to weave stories and share the goods.

This exhibit features dedicated Conductors from around the world and their statements that align a woven narrative that transcends borders and connects a global dream.

Exhibition Dates: June 27th - July 28th

Nesting - A solo exhibition with Beth Sanders

Nesting | A Solo Exhibition by Beth Sanders

In Nesting, fiber artist Beth Sanders explores the delicate balance between resilience and vulnerability through a body of work deeply rooted in personal history and recent tragedy. While preparing for this exhibition, Hurricane Helene devastated her hometown of Asheville, NC, and surrounding mountain communities—destroying the “nests” of family, friends, and neighbors. In response, Sanders dedicated this show to those who suffered these losses, incorporating salvaged boards from beloved rivers and creeks as frames. These rough-hewn elements contrast with her soft, intricate textiles, symbolizing the interplay of the harsh and tender moments we all experience in life.

Sanders’ artistic journey spans decades, beginning with weaving on a four-harness loom gifted by her husband early in their marriage. Over the years, she learned to spin, felt, dye, and work with wire and paper, blending techniques and materials from both animal and cellulose fibers. Nesting reflects this spirit of experimentation and the culmination of a lifelong dream: to transform raw materials into meaningful, tactile stories of home, hope, and endurance.

Exhibition Dates: August 1st - 30th
