De’Arman’s practice is fundamentally about layering images to create new realities. Which includes the layers of life and layers of the photographic process. The Series utilizes (35 mm film) and this slower analog process draws upon the elements of the earth to create the photographic phenomenon, in this series known as, “Nature’s Portals” teasing out the nature of reality.
