Priscilla Swanson practices artwork at 7,700 feet in Gunnison, Colorado. Her lifelong obsession with creating has taken many directions over the years, but the inspiration has remained the same, beauty. She finds inspiration in nature where colors and textures speak to her. From the minutest detail of a flower to the most vast landscape of the southwest there is always an element of beauty to be found.

Priscilla creates intuitively. She believes that the process of making art comes from a flow state when spirit is channeled. Very little, if any planning goes into a piece. Rather, the shapes, colors and materials used are chosen as the ‘feeling’ arises. 

While many artists create work to make a statement, Priscilla produces art that will make the viewer happy. In beauty there is joy.
