About Jeff Erwin

Jeff Erwin is an interdisciplinary artist and studio potter who was born and raised in the arid western United States. He received his MFA from New Mexico State University and taught at Western Colorado University from 2018 - 2022. He has served as a Museum Preparator at New Mexico State University and the Gallery Manager at Western Colorado University. Erwin has exhibited nationally across Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, New York, and internationally in France and Scotland. Currently Jeff is most excited about opening his own pottery studio in the “Foam Dome” and working as the Gallery Coordinator at the Gunnison Arts Center. When not engaged in a creative pursuit he can be found with his family at a climbing area or trying to learn to surf.
