Codie Aljets

Codie Aljets transforms metal into breathtaking works of art, a journey fueled by a profound perspective shift after surviving a battle with Stage 4 colorectal cancer. His life experiences—from a childhood spent in his family's Southern Illinois mechanic shops to his career as a firefighter—forged a foundation of working with his hands. Now, he channels that grit and skill into sculpting metal.

Working from his studio near Gunnison, Colorado, Codie brings a softness and realism to his pieces through hand hammering, texturing, and welding. He's passionate about collaborating with clients to turn their unique visions into custom metal masterpieces, creating art that speaks for itself. Codie's work is a testament to turning adversity into a success story and a commitment to living a creative, fulfilling life with his family.

His mission extends beyond his own studio. As a cancer survivor, Codie is passionate about supporting local cancer organizations. Over the past four years, he has raised nearly $100,000 through the donation of his artwork for auction

s and other gifts, directly contributing to the fight against the disease that changed his life. In addition, he has now started a welding scholarship for rural Colorado students, paying it forward by helping the next generation learn a valuable trade. This commitment to giving back is a core part of his artistic purpose.
