Molly lived in Crested Butte from 2016-2019, at which point she moved to Gunnison to finish her degree. Originally from New Orleans, Molly was drawn to the down-to-earth, small-town community and festive energy she found in Gunnison. She will graduate from Western with a B.A. in Psychology in 2024. Though she has enjoyed working in childcare for many years, she was hopeful to find a position that brought her closer to the strong art community in Gunnison, as her hobbies revolve around crafting, painting, and collage. Lucky for her, the Gunnison Arts Center was looking for a new hire who is both personable at the front desk and competent with data entry and management. The position was exactly what she was hoping for, as it perfectly blends her background in data science with her passion for art. She is eagerly looking forward to connecting with the Gunnison community through her Administrative Associate position at the Gunnison Arts Center.
