ArtWalk Festival

Celebrate art and creativity of all kinds during Gunnison’s ArtWalk Fest!  See live art in action, view gallery openings, participate in painting, or throwing clay on the wheel, watch Shakespeare skits downtown and enjoy local craft food from Burnell’s Food Truck and High Alpine Brewery beer. Experience the art and culture our amazing town has to offer.

Live music on the South Main Stage featuring opening band Farmer in the Sky from Montrose, CO from 5:30 – 7:30 pm and Peach Street Revival, psychedelic blues-rock & 70’s covers hailing from Grand Junction, CO from 8:00 – 10:00 pm.
This entire event is FREE and open to all ages!

Mark Lavengood Band

Mark Lavengood is a walking, talking ray of sunshine. His resonant energy and sparkling smile light up every stage, every studio, every room, RV and embrace he enters. A talented multi-instrumentalist, Lavengood specializes in dobro & steel guitar, both of which he’s played for over a decade, while also being well-versed in guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, drums and a variety of percussion instruments. Mark Lavengood embodies the enthusiasm needed to take music and listeners to new places. Presented by the Gunnison Country Times. Black Box Theatre.

Arts Center Singers: Concerts

November 22 & 23
If music feeds the soul, then singing warms the heart. Appealing to music lovers of all generations, community choral music continues in the Valley with the Arts Center Singers. Under the direction of Alicia Belgiovane, the coir consists of local singers, who will rehearse for 12 weeks and will perform a concert for the community. The concert will be held in the Kincaid Concert Hall in the Quigley Building on WCU Campus. Tickets will be available for pre-purchase or purchase at the door with cash or check only.

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

The Gunnison Arts Center invites you to experience the arts in the Gunnison Valley! We offer youth and adult dance, art, clay, theatre, music, and literary arts classes. We feature gallery exhibit spaces, a gallery shop, a dance studio, 72-seat community theatre/stage, clay center, meeting rooms and classrooms.

Tuesday – Friday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
