Gunnison Arts Center Gallery Exhibition Proposal Guidelines

Applications for the 2023 season are closed, you may apply now for the 2024 gallery season. 

*NOTE- Due to construction, our Main Gallery will be out of commission from September 2023-December 2024

Are you an artist interested in exhibiting in a gallery? Our exhibits rotate out on a monthly basis, and gallery openings are held on the First Friday of every month in coordination with Gunnison’s First Friday ArtWalk and Music Events. Solo, group, and traveling exhibitions are all welcome to apply. Local artists and visiting artists are all welcome to apply. If you have any questions as you complete the application process and gather support materials, please do not hesitate to contact the Gallery Manager at abigail@gunnisonartscenter.org. Thank you for your interest in exhibiting in the galleries at the Gunnison Arts Center!

Exhibition Proposal Materials

All applicants must complete an Exhibition Proposal which includes:

  • Completed application form
  • Artist bio
  • Show narrative/concept/title
  • USB or email with 5 – 10 images of artwork created within the last 5 years.

Email exhibition proposals to abigail@gunnisonartscenter.org, or drop them by the front desk during open hours.
