Sundays @ 6: You Knew Me When

Free

Outfitted with an array of instruments, You Knew Me When is a husband and wife indie folk-rock pairing with a full band sound. Based in Ouray, CO, by way of Nashville, TN, the duo have toured nationally since June of 2012 throughout North America, sharing their collective sound.

Sundays @ 6: Billy Jeter & The Shine Eye Band

Free

A son of the Delta, Billy Jeter's music has been shaped by the folk rock and storytelling melodies of the 1960s and 70s. Listeners will recognize the influencers of storytelling skills of Hunter and Garcia, The Band and Bob Dylan, the social conscientiousness of John Lennon, the folk music of Dr. Ralph Stanley and Gillian Welch. Listen, as well, for the blues influences reminiscent of Big Bill Broonzy (who lived near the Jeter farm) and the real life lyrical style of Rodney Crowell.

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

The Gunnison Arts Center invites you to experience the arts in the Gunnison Valley! We offer youth and adult dance, art, clay, theatre, music, and literary arts classes. We feature gallery exhibit spaces, a gallery shop, a dance studio, 72-seat community theatre/stage, clay center, meeting rooms and classrooms.
