Main Gallery: “Endangered Species” by Patricia Amlin
Patricia’s show “Endangered Species” showcases her latest work honoring many of the animals that are struggling due to the human impact on the natural environment. Patricia has been blessed to spend time with a number of these animals on her travels over the years. These experiences, from the mountains of Crested Butte to the coral reefs in Belize and Thailand as well the rivers of the Amazon, home to pink river dolphins, have sparked the inspiration and drive to paint this series to remind us of the importance of caring for our local and global environments. She’d like to highlight the need to take special care of our local species, such as the pica, that are at risk due to rising temperatures.
