Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:00 – 7:30 pm. July 18 -27
Bookbinding is both a time-honored professional practice and an art form rifle with creative possibilities. Using simple jigs and working in pairs, students will see the binding process twice and have able assistance as well. The four session class will cover the standard bookbinding process from folding signatures and sewing the pages together to the final binding of the book. And with reasonable care and
attention students will produce a beautiful hard bound book they will be pleased to own and have the satisfaction of having made it themselves.
