Literary Program
The Gunnison Arts Center is a great place for writers of all
ages to convene and create and it regularly hosts monthly meetings of
the Gunnison Poetry Alliance (open to all), monthly “Book Talk”
discussions (open to all), the biennial publication of the Gunnison Valley
Journal and offers workshops and classes throughout the year for youth
and adults.
Performing Arts Programs
The Gunnison Arts Center offers Performing Arts programming
throughout the year including several in-house community theatre productions
in the Gunnison Arts Center’s 72-seat theatre, FREE Sundays @ 7
live music concerts in Jorgenson Park weekly during the summer, a number
of Wednesdays @ 7 live music concerts in the Gunnison Arts Center’s
Courtyard and occasional special performances by touring musicians, dance
troupes and theatrical and literary artists.
