Visual Arts Programs

Youth, Adult, and Events

The Gunnison Arts Center Visual Arts Program offers youth and adults a variety of classes to choose from year-round. The after-school art classes for youth compliment and build upon skills learned in the K-12 art programs, offering opportunities to work in a variety of mediums. Weekend workshops for residents, regional artists and visitors are offered throughout the year. There is always a new class to choose from as well as continuing favorites. The GAC brings visiting artists from around the country to share their techniques with art students of all levels in the Gunnison Valley.
